This township tour of an African settlement offers an exclusive walk and stop tour within the community.  It is conducted by one of the locals who reside within the township.  Have the opportunity of experiencing the culture and lives of the Xhosa people.

• Take a walk to a local corner shop, known as a Spaza.  Here you will have the opportunity of purchasing some local arts and crafts
• Visit the shebeen (tavern) and taste some traditional Xhosa beer "Umqomboti"
• View local women working together on a sewing project
• Visit the mentally handicapped within a home
• Check out the gym where you will have the opportunity of seeing some local boxing
• Have the experience of walking in some traditional homes, true African style
• Visit the Trade and History Museum within the township
•  Finally, we spend time with a traditional healer, the Sangoma where we will learn about a variety of herbs used for their healing methods
