Aloe Cottage Bed & Breakfast and Self-catering accommodation is beautifully situated high on the slopes of Muizenberg Mountain in the Cape Peninsula . The splendid panoramic view from our rooms, sundecks, heated pool and spa bath, make the cottage a quiet and tranquil place to relax. Beaches, golf courses, and hiking trails are nearby. We are close enough to the sights and sounds of Cape Town and Winelands to suit just about anything your heart might desire. We offer both Bed & Breakfast and Self-catering accommodation and our 2 rooms are equipped with large comfortable luxurious beds, plenty of cupboard space, a small fridge and for those who want to keep tabs on the outside world the rooms have DSTV and a music centre. We pride ourselves on the personal attention and service we offer to all our guests and will do everything possible to help you relax in comfort and privacy, from ensuring your car is parked safely, offering advice on where to visit or eat and where possible, making arrangements for your in advance. You will find Aloe Cottage high on the mountain slopes on the border between Muizenberg and Lakeside. Below us the lake sparkles and the sandy coastline of False Bay curves gently towards the far distant Hottentots Holland mountain range. The Cape Peninsula lies at our feet and you will i magine you can reach down and idly rearrange the little houses to suit your taste. You will feel the weight lift from your shoulders as you swing gently on a deck in one of our locally produced swing seats. Take a stroll in our small landscaped Fynbos garden or head straight for your comfortable room with bed linen produced by "Headpeace", recently entrusted with providing linen during the Queen's visit to our country.   

We offer both a Bed & Breakfast and Self-catering option for Aloe Cottage. The self-catering option is ideal for those wishing to have the whole cottage to themselves.  We have 2 large bedrooms with queen size beds. There is a set of double bunks in the annex to one bedroom and a sleeper couch in the lounge. The rooms have DSTV, a small fridge for those midnight snacks, a hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities and a Radio/CD Cassette player.  Our sundecks and raised swimming pool are at your disposal. They too afford magnificent views and have been used on more than one occasion as a film set. We even offer an optional initial shopping service from one of our local supermarket chains, where only the goods ordered will be charged. Your hosts, Frank and Myrna, will do everything possible to help you relax in comfort and privacy. We will even drive your car up our steep driveway to your private parking space if you find it too daunting! You are assured of our personal attention at all times. For those arriving without their own transport, we can arrange car, motorcycle or scooter hire as well as airport transfers and lifts/tours to the beautiful local beaches, golf courses, mountain hikes and colourful shops. Aloe Cottage is the perfect base from which to explore the Cape Peninsula and Winelands. We can even book our massage, reflexology or reiki practitioner to help you relax.
